From a small Gujarati workshop to a national supplier.
amplastics was founded by Abdulla Zubair Mandai in 2005 — with a simple idea that a good chair shouldn't be a luxury. It should be made well, made in India, and made to last.
What started as a modest unit in Vapi, Gujarat, has grown over two decades into a 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility producing plastic chairs and a growing range of plastic products. We've stayed family-run, fiercely independent, and stubbornly committed to one thing: making things that people actually want to use, year after year.
Vapi is one of India's busiest industrial belts, and being rooted here means we're surrounded by raw material suppliers, skilled labour, and the kind of manufacturing heritage you can't manufacture elsewhere. Every product we make carries a piece of that.
Today, amplastics products and plastic goods sit in railway stations, schools, marriage halls, hospitals, restaurants, and homes across India — but our approach hasn't changed since the beginning. We still pick the material ourselves. We still inspect every batch. We still believe that what leaves our floor reflects who we are.
